Elden Ring Mirage Rise Riddle Phantom Crest Locations

Mirage Rise, located west of Altus Plateau, is a mysterious disappearing Elden Ring tower hidden at the bottom of a valley. A mysterious Imp Statue nearby instructs you to “touch three phantom crests” and hands you a sheet of paper, the Mirage Riddle, with the locations of all the phantom crests.

Throughout this guide, we will help you with the Mirage Rise puzzle and Phantom Crest locations to get your reward at the top of the tower.

Where To Find the Mirage Rise Puzzle

Mirage Rise can be located west of the Altus Plateau region, at the bottom of a valley.

To reach Mirage Rise in the video game developed by FromSoftware, follow Altus Plateau’s main road from Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace and head north. As you approach the collapsed Forest-Spanning Greatbridge, look for the sloping downward paths.

Once you reach the bottom, ride west until you see an Imp Statue holding a book next to a Phantom Crest.

After you interact with the Imp Statue, it gives you a map of the Mirage Rise Puzzle: the Mirage Riddle info item. In order to complete the Mirage Rise Puzzle, the objective is to touch three Phantom Crests (glowing blue icon next to the Imp Statue) in the area.

The map below shows all three locations for the Phantom Crests we are looking for.

Phantom Crest #1

As you probably noticed, the first Phantom Crest is immediately east of the Imp Statue. Approach it and interact with the phantom crest to make it disappear.

Phantom Crest #2

The second Phantom Crest is located further south-south-west, along a rock wall.

When you get close to it, Mirage Imps will appear and continue to reappear until you interact with the Phantom Crest.

Phantom Crest #3

Finally, the final Phantom Crest can be found to the east of the Imp Statue, at the underside of the collapsed bridge. Look up the hill to your right as you approach the area and climb there. You will notice a suspicious big rock that stands in the misty area.

When you strike it with your weapon, it will transform into the last Phantom Crest.

Mirage Rise Riddle Chest Reward

After touching all three Phantom Crests, head back to the initial area and check if the tower has fully risen.

Climb all the way to the top to claim your treasures from the body and the treasure chest on your left. These include 5 x Slumbering Eggs, the Unseen Blade Sorcery, and the Unseen Form Sorcery.
