Elden Ring Golden Order Principia Key Item Guide

Elden Ring Golden Order Principia is a Prayerbook that can be used to obtain two late-game Golden Order Incantations for your Tarnished. Like the other Prayerbooks in the game, this book can be handed to a “learned cleric” to learn the spells contained within Radagon’s Rings of Light and the Law of Regression.

In this guide, we will show you where you can find and deliver the Golden Order Principia to gain access to new incantations in the video game developed by FromSoftware for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Where To Find the Golden Order Principia

The Golden Order Principia can be found on a chair hanging from the ceiling in Erdtree Sanctuary.

To get there, climb the roots right outside the Erdtree Sanctuary’s entrance (east), which leads to a wooden balcony inside the Sanctuary. Head through the only door and turn left immediately to jump down to a nearby golden roof.

There is a window that can be jumped through to get back inside the Sanctuary. Another root to the left will take you directly to the hanging chair, where you can pick up the Golden Order Principia.

Now, if you check the description of the book, it reads: “Prayerbook of the Golden Order fundamentalists. A dense and complex academic treatise that contains the Order’s fundamental principles. Can be given to a learned cleric to gain access to the following incantations: Radagon’s Rings of Light, Law of Regression.”

How To Use the Golden Order Principia

After obtaining the Golden Order Principia, you can deliver it to any “learned clerics” in the Lands Between to learn the Incantations mentioned in the book’s description. The first option is to hand it over to Brother Corhyn, who can be found near the main Site of Grace in Roundtable Hold.

The second alternative is to give the book to Miriel, Pastor of Vows in the Church of Vows (detailed here), where you can learn new incantations and sorceries.

Giving the Golden Order Principia to either of them allows you to buy the Radagon’s Rings of Light and Law of Regression Incantations from their shops. With Radagon’s Rings of Light, you can conjure a holy ring that expands outwards, dealing Holy damage to opponents caught inside its wide range. The Law of Regression removes all negative status and special effects and reveals all types of mimicry.
