Highway Lookout Tower is a small Elden Ring landmark located in eastern Liurnia of the Lakes area, north of Purified Ruins, where you meet Hyetta the second time.
Although small, the Elden Ring Highway Lookout Tower is quite important if you play the Astrologer class because here you’ll find the Carian Glintblade Staff.
At first sight, Highway Lookout Tower may look impossible to reach, but it’s pretty accessible, and if you need help, below we’ll tell you how to get to it and what items you should look for.
Elden Ring Highway Lookout Tower Location – Where To Find
You can find the Highway Lookout Tower in Elden Ring on the eastern coast of Liurnia at the location marked on my map below.
There are several options to get here, but the fastest is using the Spiritspring Jump spot west of the actual tower.
The Spiritspring Jump location is also marked on the map above, and as you can see, it’s on the eastern shore of the large lake in the center of Liurnia.
The tower is well protected by ghosts, the most dangerous one being the spellcaster on top of the building.
Liurnia Highway Lookout Tower Guide – How To Complete
If you use the Spiritspring Jump west of the tower, after you land, you’ll want to rush towards the tower using the rock platform marked above.
Try to avoid all enemies and quickly climb to the top of the tower and deal with the spellcaster. Once you do that, you’ll have the high-ground advantage, and you can use ranged attacks to clear all mobs below.
Once you do that, check the corpse on the top platform to get the Elden Ring Carian Glintblade Staff.
While not as powerful as the Meteorite Staff, this weapon is quite helpful if you play as an Astrologer.
Now, descend the stairs, and you’ll find a chest two floors below. Inside is the Glintstone Craftsman’s Cookbook .
Last but not least, before leaving this location, check the corpse near the campfire to get a Golden Rune .
Now that you found all the essential items inside the Elden Ring Highway Lookout Tower feel free to leave the area.
