Hunting Andhrimnir’s Boar is another Assassin’s Creed Valhalla World Event you can complete while exploring Asgard in the video game developed by Ubisoft. The Immortal Boar named Saehrimnir, however, is not immortal and is an accessible beast. According to Norse mythology, every single day, Andhrimnir goes to the woods to kill Saehrimnir, and then he cooks the meat in his cauldron named Eldhrímnir.
At night, Saehrimnir returns to life so Andhrimnir can hunt again and cook another feast for the Gods. Andhrimnir’s Boar is your target in the World Event named Food Of The Gods.
AC Valhalla Food of the Gods World Event Location
As you can see on my map, Andhrimnir is found east of Ymir’s Altar in Asgard. Just swim to the eastern island, and you should be able to find his camp.
How To Hunt the Immortal Boar Sæhrímnir
When you approach the camp, you’ll find Andhrimnir, and he’ll ask you if you want to hunt the Immortal Boar with him. Since even Gods get hungry, accept the invitation, and then, all you have to do for this quest is to follow the NPC. Andhrimnir takes you to a nearby forest, southeast of his camp, where you should see a large boar. The beast is larger than the regular ones, as shown in my picture below. It’s quite impossible to miss.
Now, depending on your character’s level, this can be an easy or a difficult fight. If you visit Asgard later in the game, a single arrow should be enough to put the Immortal Boar down, which is hilarious.
Regardless, though, once you defeat the Boar, the event ends, and Andhrimnir returns to his camp to prepare the feast. And no, you don’t get to taste the food he’s cooking from Saehrimnir’s meat, but you’ll still get 1200 XP points.
