Aswig is an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla NPC, quest-giver, and probably the most annoying character you’ll ever meet, not only in the Essexe region but in the whole video game developed by Ubisoft. Nevertheless, dealing with Aswig and finding her is mandatory if you wish to play another World Event named The Gleewoman.
The idea behind this one, though, is not only to help Aswig but also to get rid of her, and while this may sound like an easy task, it is not. On top of that, you will also have to get your purse ready because she won’t agree to let you be without getting something in return. So let’s talk about this cheerleader named Aswig and what you must do in The Gleewoman World Event.
AC Valhalla The Gleewoman World Event Location
Again, let’s start with the location of Aswig in AC Valhalla. As you can see on my map, she is located on the southern side of the region, southwest of Wulfaswic. Ride to the location marked on the map, and you’ll find a tower. Inside it is a tied woman, who goes by the name of Aswig.
How to Help and Get Rid of Aswig
Before releasing the Gleewoman, you may want to look around and notice that although she is tied, there is not a single guard close to her. Why is that?
Because Aswig is a monster, a human monster, that is. So, untie her, and she’ll tell you she is a gleewoman named Aswig the Mellifluous. And she’s looking for adventure, but do not think that she’s going to join you in the upcoming fights.
No, she will cheer for you. So loud and so often that you’ll most likely want to kill her after the first 2 minutes. So, you got yourself a muse who will follow you everywhere you go. Now, to complete the event, head north, and in the swamp nearby, you’ll see several boars like those pictured below. Kill the beasts while the crazy Aswig cheers for you, and then Eivor tells her that she must stop following him.
Because enough is enough. Now for the cherry on the cake. You are given three options, but Aswig will not leave unless you pay her 165 Silver! Yes, that’s the amount you must pay to get rid of her. Why? Because no good deed goes unpunished. Terrible NPC, right?
