The Burning Family Cart is a quest objective for a Snotinghamscire Mystery you can complete in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Mystery is named An Efficient Cremation, and your goal is to help a Norseman burn his family. No worries, though, because they are already dead.

AC Valhalla An Efficient Cremation World Event Location

Let’s start by checking the map below as it shows the location of the Burning Family Cart, or if you want, the spot where you’ll find the Norse Man who needs your help. Notice that it’s just west of Wenloch Abbey.

When you get to the location on my map, you’ll find a man standing in front of his house and a burning cart. If you pay close attention, you’ll hear him mentioning that the cart isn’t burning fast enough. Inside the cart, you’ll see some corpses.

Now, if you want to find out more about this man, head inside the house and read the Old Man’s Will note on the table. Long story short, the father of our quest giver decided to change his will and leave everything to the second son because the first one (who needs your help) was a gambler. The first son found the will and killed his family. So, the man who is asking for your help is a killer. Here is what you need to do next.

How To Burn the Norse Man’s Cart

Head outside the house and go around it to spot a shelf like the one in my screenshot.

Destroy the crate on the ground, then pull the shelf back to find an oil jar. Pick it up, return to the cart, and throw it into the fire. This will make the cart burn faster. Now, since you found the Norse Man’s secret, talk to him, and he will admit that he killed his family.

He’ll also ask you to kill him. So, why not respect his second wish as well? You already helped him once. Kill the Norse Man, and the event ends.
