The talking Dead Body you’ll meet or hear in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Sciropescire territory allows you to trigger another World Event or side-quest if you want, named The Puppeteer, and let me tell you that while The King Of The Hill was the stupidest character in the game, the puppeteer is the biggest scammer.

The event, though, is hilarious and rather easy to complete if you know where to find the swindler. As usual, we will deal with this scammer and end his scheme because Eivor can’t stand scammers, nor is he that stupid to be fooled by one. Or at least not by this one.

AC Valhalla The Puppeteer World Event Location

To start this event, first, you’ll need to reach Sciropescire, and then you’ll have to raid Wenlocan Abbey. As you can see on my map below, the world event is west of the said abbey, which is rather small. Make sure you deal with the Saxons there, then go west.

How To Open the Wenlocan Abbey Locked Door

Right, so at the location marked on the map, you’ll find a locked door and, in front of it, a dead body. But this body can talk, which is impossible, right? You can see it below, and the first thing you’ll have to do is to interact with it.

While listening to the talking dead body, you’ll realize you are about to be scammed. The long story short is that the soul of the poor fellow in front of the gate can’t rest unless you give him something, and by that, I mean some of your hard-earned silver.

An excellent plan, right? Ok, but the problem is that the locked door behind the talking body can’t be opened without a key and that key is behind the grate. This means we must find another way inside to solve this mystery. From your current location, climb the small hill above the tunnel or the locked door.

Several steps away, you will see a house, and inside it is a shelf you can move. Once you do that, you’ll find a hidden entrance behind a wall you can destroy. It’s identical to the one in my screenshot.

In the first room, get the Opal from the table and check the barrel in the corner for some silver. Now head down the ladder and follow the tunnel leading you to…the swindler!

Here, you’ll want to loot the chest on the left side to complete the mystery, and as you can guess, the thief won’t like that, so he’ll attack you. It’s a good thing he’s good at scamming, not at fighting. Dispatch him, then slide through the hole in the next wall, get the key, and open the locked door to get out.
