Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Les Trois Pignons Hunter is one of the targets you’ll encounter when you reach France, and he is the objective of a Melunois Mystery named The Frankish Noble.
A level 480 boss who goes by the name of Amric, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Frankish Noble is far from an easy target; however, below, I’ll tell you how to approach and how to deal with him properly, even if your power level is smaller.
The AC Valhalla Frankish Noble Mystery is part of the Siege of Paris DLC, released by Ubisoft on August 12, 2021, and you’ll have to finish it in order to get 100% completion in Melunois.
Where To Find The AC Valhalla Frankish Noble Mystery In Melunois
The AC Valhalla Frankish Noble or Amric, the Trois Pignons Hunter you need to deal with, is found just north of the pond where we massacred the European Pond Turtles for the Sarclitas Offering Altar.
You can see his location on the map below, and near him, you should be able to spot another Melunois Mystery, which is the Trois Pignons Cairn.
However, your objective here is to find Amric, The Hunter.
How To Kill The Trois Pignons Hunter
When you approach the location marked on the map above, pay very close attention to the environment, and you’ll see a chest sitting in an opening.
Now, around the chest, you can spot a lot of red areas that mark some traps.
Obviously, you can approach the chest by carefully avoiding the traps; however, that chest is supervised by the Frankish Noble or The Hunter.
The moment you open it, you’ll fall into his trap, and he’ll attack you first. This is basically what he wants you to do.
This means that you should stay away from the chest and strike him first.
To do so, approach the area from the southwest and look around to see the peak of a mountain (where the Cairn is located).
Go around it and when you reach the top, scan the area to spot The Hunter below you.
He is hiding in the bushes, and normally you won’t be able to perform an air assassination unless you’re hanging. Just as you see in my picture.
Simply drop down and descend a bit, then stealth attack The Hunter.
By attacking Amric from above, you’ll deplete half of his health bar with a single strike, which is more than enough to make this fight fair.
Obviously, since the target is aware of your presence, you’ll have to deal with him head-on, and now your gear and level play a crucial role.
Since he is quite fast, being faster than him is better, so try to use sickles and daggers, preferably with some poison, to deal additional damage.
Assuming you already completed all content in the game, the Frankish Noble should not be a problem for you.
Once you deal with The Hunter, the AC Valhalla Frakish Noble Mystery ends; however, make sure you confirm your kill.
Finally, move around the traps and claim the content inside the chest he was protecting.
There is also a Woolly Letter you can read to learn more about Amric and his brother.
