The Dawn Of Ragnarok Old City Book Of Knowledge will add the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Knockback Arrow ranged ability to your arsenal. It fires a lighting arrow that stuns enemies around the target and hits them with chain lighting. So, it is an AoE ability suitable for fighting grouped enemies.

Getting the Wealth can prove to be a challenge because a puzzle blocks your access to it. You can learn the ability quickly in the game by exploring Gullnamar, the first larger area of the DLC released by Ubisoft.

Later, you can upgrade it with another Book Of Knowledge located in the Svaladal region. But for now, you should obtain this one, so I will help you solve the Dawn Of Ragnarok Old City puzzle.

Where To Find the AC Valhalla Old City Book Of Knowledge Wealth

As you can see on the map below, the Wealth’s location is east of Uldar or east of the Grenhellir Shelter.

After exiting the shelter, you can see a bridge you must cross. Doing so will get you to Uldar, where you have to keep going forward on the town’s main road until you arrive at the Old City entrance. The Vault of the Ancients main quest will also bring you here.

Anyway, you can avoid most enemies by going up the rope on the right. Then, go forward until you reach the wall and drop down. Head forward again, hugging the right side of the wall until the Old City Book Of Knowledge collectible icon appears on your compass. It should be above you, near a giant statue. Because the puzzle there contains a light beam, it will be easy to spot from afar.

Old City Light Beam Wealth Puzzle Solution

Now that you found the puzzle go to the pedestal in front of the doorway and aim the light beam at the plate above the door to open it. Pick up the sphere from the fire nearby.

Head inside the room to put it on another pedestal. Now, go back outside and point the light beam through the door where you placed the sphere. The doorway is now closed, but the light connects the two pedestals. This time, enter the room through the window above the door.

Use Odin’s Sight to see the exact location of the Old City Book Of Knowledge through the wall and connect the light beam from the inside pedestal to the plate above the door corresponding with the Wealth. Enter the newly opened room, and on the right, you have your reward.
