Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Skavi’s Bird Kraka Mystery or The Ballad of Kraka and Skavi is a World Event in the Dawn Of Ragnarok expansion, which has a nice reward waiting for you at the end. Completing the side quest will add an Ember of Muspelheim to your inventory, a rare material used to upgrade your Hugr-Rip at any blacksmith in the mythical realm of Svartalfheim.
The World Event is also quite fun, and animal lovers will enjoy the story behind it, which I will try not to spoil.
AC Valhalla The Ballad of Kraka and Skavi World Event Location
You can find the World Event east of Jordeygr Shelter, on a mountain near the Svaladal border, as shown on the map below.
Once you are on the west side of the mountain, start climbing it until you hear an NPC complaining about his stupid bird, Kraka. The Mystery icon should appear on your compass, leading to Skavi’s camp.
Now that you are here let us see how to complete Skavi’s Bird Kraka Mystery.
How To Complete Skavi’s Bird Kraka World Event
The first step is to talk to the NPC, and then you must make your way to the flying rock, where Skavi is pointing.
To complete Skavi’s Bird Kraka Mystery, you must use the Power of the Raven, which you can drain from Raven enemies at the mountain’s base. You will also need the Raven Endurance upgrade for the Power, which increases its duration to fifty seconds.
You can complete the upgrade at any blacksmith in the Dawn Of Ragnarok DLC for five Silica (up for grabs in Raids) and twenty Giant Feathers (obtainable by killing Raven enemies).
Now, you can make your way to the flying rock, and as you get closer, you can observe that the giant rock is actually a flying fortress guarded by Muspels. The guards also have a prisoner there. Kill the mobs, free the prisoner, and collect the Ember of Muspelheim located between three glowing pillars (like in the image below).
Now, use the Power of the Raven again and get back to Skavi. If you need to charge the Hugr-Rip, I believe enemies will keep spawning in this location, so have at them.
