Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Small Bullhead is another quest item you’ll need to find in the video game developed by Ubisoft, but this time to complete the Elisdon Offering Altar. The Bullhead (Small) is a type of fish, and now that you know how Offering Altars work (from the Cerneley Offering Altar discussed earlier), it’s time to complete this one and get another Skill Point. So, let’s see where to find 10 X Bullhead (Small) or Small Bullhead and, obviously, how to fish them.

Where To Find the AC Valhalla Elisdon Altar Mystery

The Elisdon Offering Altar is found in the Grantebridgescire region, or the second region in East Anglia you’ll have to explore if you follow the game’s story. This one, as you can see on my map below, is found south of Eivor’s settlement in a clearing.

Approach the altar, and when you get to this location, on the ground, you will see another note. This is A Norseman’s Offering, and again, you can read it if you need more details about the offering you’re about to make.

Now, interact with the Elisdon Altar, and unless you did some fishing before reaching this location, you’d be asked to bring 10 Small Bullhead. If you have them, well … you’re done with this one. But for the sake of this guide, I’ll assume you need 10 Bullhead (Small).

Good, so now open your map again, and from your current location to the west, you will see a river. It is one of the many rivers in England; however, do not make the mistake of going east and fishing in the Nene River. The fishing spots you’ll want to find are in the Alne River. On the map below, you can see the location, as I have marked it for you.

So, west, we go to Alne River to catch the Small Bullhead. When you get to the river, you have several options to get 10 x Bullhead (Small). Assuming you have unlocked the Fisherman Hut or built it in your settlement, then you have a rod you may want to use. This is the recommended method because it’s faster.

But if you did not, then you can opt to snipe the fish with your bow or melee them. This is slower, and I suggest not using it because it will take a lot of time. And arrows. So, build the Fisherman Hut first because you’ll need it.

Now, the idea behind fishing in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is easy. If you think you need patience like in real life, you’re wrong since this activity revolves around finding the fish, not waiting for it. Simply put, what you have to do is to run along the river (up and down), constantly scanning it until you see a fish school like the one below. Notice that they are close to the shore, and they are highlighted just like the rabbits from the previous altar. This can be done using Odin’s Sight.

How To Fish

When you see a fish school, pull out your rod by pressing down on your D-Pad, then select it from the wheel. Next, cast your line close to the Small Bullhead fish school, and when the fish grabs the lure, mash the corresponding button on your screen while tilting the left thumbstick to pull the fish out of the water.

So, to fish 10 Small Bullhead, move up and down the river on my map, scan the area, and then fish in the fishing spots only. Do not go too far in the north, though, and do not go too far in the south because you’ll start fishing other species.

If you run out of fish schools, you can opt to meditate, and they will respawn. To meditate, you’ll have to use the same wheel you have used to select your fishing rod. Now, once you catch 10 x Small Bullhead, return to the Elisdon Offering Altar and make the offering to complete this Mystery.
