If you are exploring Ledecestrescire (specifically Repton) in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you may find a house with a locked door in the middle of the village. It is very close to Jungulf, the fancy NPC you’ll duel in Flyting, and most likely, you’ll want to get inside and loot the goodies. But where is the Repton Locked House Key?
Because if you approach the door of this house, you’ll get the following message: “Find the key to unlock the door.” Pretty straightforward if you ask me. So, the only way to enter the Repton Locked House is by opening the door with a key. Like the civilized Viking that you are.
The problem here is that no matter how much you look for a key, chances are you won’t be able to find it. Fear not, though, because I will tell you what you must do. So, let’s start with the location of the house we want to break into.
Where To Find the Repton Locked House
The house in question is located in the central area of Repton, which is a small village in the Ledecestrescire region. Or the second region you’ll explore in AC Valhalla. You’ll likely find it while trying to get all the loot in Repton. For economic reasons, obviously. You can also see it on the map below.
When you approach this house on the right side of the door, you’ll see a note. This is Skari’s Journal, and I suggest you read it because you’ll find out that this house belongs to Skari, a former warrior who gave up fighting for, well…art.
So where is Skari? Skari is actually an NPC and the protagonist of a World Event named The Old Guard. So if you want the key, you’ll need to find him. The good thing is that he is close to your location. The bad thing is that The Old Guard is a fetch quest you’ll need to complete, even though you can enter the house pretty quickly. Now, let’s find him and get the Repton Locked House Key.
Repton Locked House Key Location
Open your map, and from your current location, identify the World Event icon located northwest, close to Woden’s Eye Island. It is actually on a small island, as you can see below.
Travel to this location, and you’ll find Skari standing by the fire and singing. Take a sit in front of him, and you’ll find the story of his life. Without spoiling this quest, Skari will eventually give you Skari’s House Key, and you’ll be asked to return to the Locked House in Repton.
Except that now you can enter it. So, get inside, loot everything (because efforts must be rewarded), and then grab the crate on the ground.
This crate contains some poems, and even though you entered the house, your goal now is to finish the World Event. This means that you’ll need to grab the crate and take it to the dock nearby. Place it on a boat, then cross the river and carry it to Skari.
Now, you’ll want to place the crate next to the artist (on the red carpet), then just sit on the bench in front of him. And now the quest ends. So, in just a couple of minutes, you entered the Locked House in Repton and also finished the Old Guard World Event in Ledecestrescire.
