Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Canterbury Cathedral Gear Chest allows you to unlock the Brigandine Armor while exploring the Cent territory, but unlike the gear in Londinium Bureau, this one is a bit more accessible. Provided you know how to unlock a barred door.

The gear in question, as you can see on my map below, sits inside Canterbury Cathedral. It’s not underground and not underwater, which is a good thing. But it is in a room that can’t be accessed because of a barred door.

Another positive thing about this collectible is that accessing Canterbury Cathedral is easy because there are multiple ways inside. One of the game’s quests will also take you to this location. But let’s assume you want to get this armor earlier.

How To Get the AC Valhalla Canterbury Wealth

When you enter the Cathedral, you’ll eventually reach a rather large room like the one in my screenshot.

Here, you’ll need to observe several points of interest. First, we have a barred room (left side), then we have a small church throne (middle), then we have a balcony (right side). The balcony features a barred door, and if you manage to unlock it, you can cross a hallway that will lead you to the barred room on the left.

Great, so head towards the small throne (which sits in a smaller chamber), then turn right and look up to spot a library. Climb on it (as you can see in my image), and shoot an arrow through the grates while aiming at the red locker on the door.

Now head back to the main room, climb the balcony mentioned above, and go through the barred door you just unlocked. On the other side of the next corridor, you’ll find the room with the gear, but it is under your feet. Look up and spot the wooden chandelier, which also features a lock (pictured).

Shoot this one, too, and you’ll uncover the buried gear chest. Next to it is also an Opal you don’t want to miss.
