Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dunvegan Village Brewer, or the Brewer in Dunvegan Village, is an NPC that has a task for you while exploring the Isle of Skye. The AC Valhalla Dunvegan Village Brewer is the only quest giver on Skye Island, so to get 100% completion in this region, you’ll have to help him.
The Dunvegan Village Mystery is very similar to the quests featured in England, and it is named The Drink of The Picts. Here is how to complete this quest.
AC Valhalla Drink of The Picts World Event Location
Let’s start with the Brewer’s location, which, as you can see on the map below, is Dunvegan Village. On the Isle of Skye, Dunvegan Village is on the northwestern coast and is quite an important landmark.
Once you get to the location on my map, you’ll see the NPC or the Isle of Skye Brewer walking around in front of a house. You can also see the desperate Brewer in the following screenshot.
Where To Find the Ingredients for Dunvegan Village Brewer’s Drink
When you approach the NPC, you’ll notice he’s so upset that he has little to share with you. In fact, he’ll only tell you that he wants you to leave because his life’s work is in crisis. And that’s about it. Strange right?
Yet, your goal is to find what is wrong with the Brewer, and as you can guess, you have to help him. To do so, look around, and you’ll see a round house nearby. You can also spot it in the picture above. This is the Brewer’s house, and your next objective is to access it. Therefore, go around it and destroy the panel made of sticks covering the window.
After you enter the house, look around, and on the table, you’ll find a Stained List of Ingredients or a recipe for making the Drink of the Picts. According to the recipe, you’ll need to find:
- 2x Crushed Barley
- 1x Wheat
- 1x Firefly
Now, if you return to the Brewer, he’ll thank you for finding his recipe and send you to look for the ingredients. Or, you can skip the dialogue and start looking for the ingredients immediately. Here is where to find the Drink of the Picts ingredients in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Where To Find Barley
Barley is usually found in sacks. The first Barley can be obtained from the bag resting on the Brewer’s house. Head outside, then go around the house and loot the bags to get 1 Barley. Now, from your current location, head west towards the small hill, and you’ll see some pigs. On the other side of the field is a small shack with two Barley bags. You can see them below. Loot them, and you’re done with the Barley.
Where To Find Wheat
Great, so now that you’ve got the Barley, head back towards the Brewer’s house. On your way back, you’ll cross the field with the pigs. Loot some Wheat from the stacks.
Where To Find Fireflies
Now that you have 2 out of 3 ingredients, you’ll have to get one Firefly. After you get the Wheat, if you look around, you’ll see some of them flying. Just move around the field and pay attention to see the Catch button on your screen. Press it, and that’s it. Keep in mind, though, that Fireflies usually spawn during the night, so you might be forced to rest.
Good job! Now that you have all the ingredients, return to the Brewer and talk to him. Once he thanks you for saving his drink, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Drink of the Picts World Event is complete.
