Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ledecestrescire Sauce is a short World Event and a Mystery you can complete in the Ledecestrescire region. As with all World Events, it counts as a Mystery, and it is quite funny to play. So, in this guide, we’ll talk about the Ledecestrescire Sauce quest because it requires a special ingredient.

It’s not hard to find, but if you need help with it, I’ll explain what you have to do.

AC Valhalla Ledecestrescire Sauce World Event Location

The quest-giver in question is located northeast of Sudwella Monastery, as you can see on my map below. Basically, you’ll find him near a wooden hut close to the riverbank.

If you approach this Anglo-Saxon Man, you’ll hear him complaining about a source he’s trying to make. Unfortunately, he’s a terrible cook, and no matter what he does, the sauce sucks. And you’re about to see that in a couple of minutes.

Good then, so when you get to this location, you can investigate it a bit to find various notes. Close to the cellar outside, on a wooden pillar, you’ll find Wilfrid’s Abominations note. Make sure you read it because it explains how the sauce experiment is going.

Inside the house, which can be accessed by jumping through the window, you’ll find Wilfrid’s Journal; however, the most important note is the one on the table near our cook. This note shows the Sauce Results based on the various types of fish our cook tried.

Make sure you read it, and you’ll notice that the only result missing is the one for a sauce based on Eel. Right, so talk to our cook nearby and listen to his story.

Where To Find an Eel

As the dialogue progresses, you’ll discover that our cook’s amazing sauce is based on fish, and he tried all species except for Eel. Your goal is pretty straightforward at this point. Get an Eel and bring it to the cook.

The good thing is that the Eel is nearby. The bad thing is that the sauce will still suck. Good, so let’s get the Eel. From your current location, simply head to the river nearby and look for a wooden dock. Scan the area, and you should see a lot of fish in the water, as in my screenshot below.

And here you have three options. Fish the Eel if you built the Fisherman Hut in your settlement or snipe one with an arrow. You can also jump into the water and melee the fish. Whatever works for you. Once you get the Eel, return it to the cook, and when the sauce is ready, you’ll have the chance to try it, which is not a good idea.
