Another hilarious Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mystery or World Event you can complete in Grantebridgescire revolves around a stinking house. Yeah, that’s right, a smelly house and an NPC that never washes. This World Event is named Degolas The Beautiful, Degolas being the said NPC.

He is not beautiful, by the way, but he is very dirty. So dirty that you’ll have to find a way to clean him. Like the previous world event (The Devout Troll), this one takes only a few minutes to complete, and I will help you do it.

AC Valhalla Degolas the Beautiful World Event Location

The exact location of this World Event can be seen on the map below, and it is in the northern Grantebridgescire.

In the woods, you’ll find a boy surrounded by pigs, and as Eivor quickly notices, the boy’s house is cursed with shit. Whatever that means.

The first thing you’ll have to do is to talk to the boy who will tell you that his father, Degolas (not LoTR Legolas, although the reference is pretty obvious), never washes, and as an archer, he dips his arrows in shit. Your first goal is obviously to clean the boy’s house.

The good thing is that this objective is really easy to complete. The bad thing is that the house is a death trap, and the gas inside will deplete Eivor’s health quickly.

How To Clean the Smelly House and Degolas

Before entering the house through the front door as a civilized Viking, make sure your health bar is full. If not, take a look around because there are berries everywhere. Eat some to fill your health bar. Now, head inside and scan the area to see several crates.

What you have to do is to pick them up, then take them outside and throw them away. There are four of them, and three are in plain sight. The fourth one (pictured below) is in the right corner as you enter the door, and it is harder to spot because it’s masked by another crate.

Once you get rid of the stinking crates, the boy will lead you to his father, Degolas, who is nearby, down the hill. What you need to do is to force him to take a bath, and the pond below his suspended platform is the perfect spot.

So, aim high and shoot the platform he is standing on. Once you do that, head back to the boy’s house, and Degolas will soon follow you. Talk to the stinking archer as he approaches, and you’re done.
