The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Cursed Man’s House can be found on the north-western side of the Cent region, and when you approach it, you’ll be able to complete a new World Event named Red In Tooth And Claw. This is a very interesting mystery that allows you to learn one or two things about a man who thought that he was cursed simply by investigating his death. It is similar to The Pardoner’s Tale.
On top of that, the AC Valhalla Cursed Man will be mentioned later in the game when solving another mystery in Essexe. But let’s finish this one first.
AC Valhalla Red in Tooth and Claw World Event Location
As said, the Cursed Man’s house is found on the north-western side of Cent, just east of Lolingestone Bandit Camp. You can see it on my map below, and when you get close to it, you will probably hear some whispers.
Those whispers come from a man who snared a she-wolf, and then he went crazy believing that a beastmaster cursed him. Your first goal here is to deal with the boars outside his house. When you do that, you’ll hear the cursed man claiming that the Beastmaster sent those boars to punish him. So this is a man versus nature type of quest. Let’s see what comes next.
How To Get Inside the House
After you deal with the boars outside, head by the well nearby and get the Weathered Key from the corpse you see in my screenshot below.
With the key in hand, enter the house and start your investigation. On the other side of the cabin, you’ll find a Desperate Note by the wall. This note tells what happened when our man found the she-wolf and how he killed her and the cubs.
Because of this, he thought that a beastmaster cursed him and sent the boars you just killed. Which is obviously not true. Scarred by this curse, the man was locked inside his house. Now examine the crates with apples (pictured below) and the man’s body.
These two clues explain that to not die of hunger; the man took some food with him before locking himself inside the house. The problem is that, in time, the food started to rot, so obviously, the rats came to feast. Now, examine the body, and the mystery ends, but before leaving the house, also check the note by the door.
From the Fearful Ramblings, you can learn more about the Beastmaster that the man thought he placed a curse on him. Obviously, the Beastmaster didn’t do that, and the curse was only in our character’s imagination. However, because he locked himself inside the house with a lot of food, the man was killed by nature’s rats, even though the only curse he had to deal with was his stupidity.
Now that the World Event is complete, when you reach Essexe, inside Beorn Cavern, you’ll meet the Beastmaster, a really friendly guy looking for your help.
