Sphinxy’s Shrine is an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla objective for a Lincolnscire Mystery you must complete when reaching the northeastern region of England. The quest is named The Farewell Meow, and it requires you to help a lady in distress who is upset because her cat (aka Sphinxy) passed away.

Since not even Eivor can resurrect the feline, your goal is to build a shrine for the cat to ease the woman’s grief. Here is how to do it.

AC Valhalla The Farewell Meow World Event Location

On my map below, you can see the location of Sphinxy’s former master or, if you want, Sphinxy’s former residence. Or, simply put, the map below shows the location of the woman you must help.

When you get to this location, all you have to do is talk to the depressed woman in front of her house. She’ll tell you the story of her cat and that the poor feline died 11 years ago! Yes, for 11 years, the woman mourned the loss of a cat.

Agree to help her, and she’ll give you a key (Ealwyn’s House Key). So we know that the woman’s name is Ealwyn. Use the key to get inside the house; here, you’ll need to find three items belonging to Sphinxy. Let’s see where they are.

Where To Find Sphinxy’s Belongings

The first object belonging to Sphinxy is a bowl, which you can find near a barrel (left side in my screenshot below). Make sure you smash all objects in the house the moment you enter. Once you pick up the bowl, you can read Ealwyn Journal (also pictured in the center), then grab the Blanket near the red jar. You can see it on the right side of my image.

Finally, look around for a shelf you can push, and behind it, you’ll find an Opal and a Cat Toy. You can see the said shelf below.

Good, so now that you have all of Sphinxy’s belongings head outside, and you’ll see Ealwyn near a tree trunk. Interact with the Shrine that is under construction, and the mystery ends. Ealwyn will also change his mind about Danes, which is good, but you can’t start a romance with her if that’s what you want.
