In my opinion, the Evinghou Tower Artifact is the trickiest Assassin’s Creed Valhalla collectible in Oxenefordscire, as this Roman Artifact requires you to find a secret tunnel that can be easily missed.
Although not necessarily hard to collect, the AC Valhalla Evinghou Tower Artifact can be reached only by finding the said tunnel, and because of the artifact’s location (behind a shelf you have to move), you may want to know what you have to do to get close to it.
The location of the Roman Artifact in question can be seen on the map below. It is northeast of the Derelict Shrine of Camulus, under a high point that you’ll have to synchronize. It’s pretty easy to spot on the map. Make sure you look for it after you synch the said waypoint.
How To Get the AC Valhalla Evinghou Tower Artifact
Once you get to this location, reach the ground level and go around the tower to find a Roman statue. It shows a goddess, and the Roman Artifact is close to it, specifically inside a small room with a grate on the roof and a blocked shelf blocking the door.
The idea here is simple. Move the shelf to get the artifact in Evinghou Tower. Now, look at my screenshot below, and you can see that the shelf in question is on the left side. That’s the room you’ll need to access. On the right side, you can see a tunnel. That is the one you’ll need to find.
So, get inside the tunnel, and you’ll reach a secret room with a grated door (also pictured). While standing behind the grate, aim for the obstacle on the left side and destroy it to free the shelf.
Now, head back outside and pull the shelf to the right to enter the room with the Roman Artifact Collectible. You can spot it in front of you, standing on a small altar.
