Hogwarts Legacy E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre Statue Puzzle Solution

E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre is a shorter Hogwarts Legacy side quest involving a quick puzzle you must complete. While exploring the Feldcroft Region, you will come across a small settlement known as Irondale. Here, you will meet a widow, Althea Twiddle, who will tell you about some sort of archaic puzzle involving vases.

To unlock the E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre Side Quest, you must advance the story until you complete the Tomes And Tribulations and reach Level 10. Then, find the quest giver, Althea Twiddle, in the Feldcroft Region southwest of Hogwarts Castle, in a hamlet named Irondale.

How To Activate the Statue (Vase Locations)

To find Madam Twiddle’s mysterious statue, follow the quest marker leading southwest using the flying broom or on foot. You’ll find the mysterious statue surrounded by ruins with vases on them. To activate the mysterious statue, you must destroy all 20 vases in this area. There is also a counter in the top right corner of the screen showing how many you have destroyed.

These vases are scattered around the area inside, on top, or behind the ruins. Below, you’ll find all 20 vase locations to activate the statue. To make things easier, we will go over them clockwise, starting from the statue.

Vases #1-7

The vases from 1 to 6 can be found in plain sight, on top, or inside the ruins, except for number 7, which is behind the ruins. Use the Basic Cast to destroy them by tapping (R2)/(RT).

Vases #8-10

Vase number 8 and 10 can be found inside or on top of the ruins, while number 9 is outside, near the entrance.

Vases #11-16

All the vases from 11 to 16 can be spotted in plain sight.

Vases #17-20

Vases 17 and 18 are behind the ruins, while the last two vases are inside, in the corner.

After you destroy all 20 vases, a short cutscene will play where the statue will activate. The statue is, in fact, a Battle Arena where you can train yourself and earn XP simultaneously. It is not mandatory to enter the Battle Arena to progress the side quest.

Return to Madam Twiddle and tell her what you’ve found to complete the E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre Side Quest and receive Column Beige – Wand Handle and 180 XP.
