Like A Moth To A Frame is a short Hogwarts Legacy side quest in which you have to discover a painting’s secret found by Lenora Everleigh. But, Like A Moth To A Frame Side Quest becomes available only after you complete the Defence Against The Dark Arts Class, where you learn the Levioso spell.
After finishing the said quest, open the Map, use the cursor to select The Library Annex black flag, choose the side quest, and press (X)/(A) to track it. Then, follow the route on the minimap to the quest giver, Lenora Everleigh, in Central Hall.
Talk to her to begin the Like A Moth To A Frame Quest.
How To Discover The Painting’s Secret
After talking to Lenora Everleigh, get in front of the mysterious painting and cast Lumos. The painting will reveal a location not far away from where you are, also marked on the minimap.
Go to the right of the painting and head down the stairs, then check to the right side of the stairs, near a statue containing a Field Guide Page. You’ll find a moth similar to the ones you’ve seen on the painting’s frame, but bigger. Get close to the moth and cast Lumos again. This will make the moth follow you.
Return to the painting with the moth and cast Lumos one more time to place the moth into its frame, solving the painting’s riddle. Pick up the Field Guide Page in front of it, then go back to Lenora Everleigh and talk to her to complete the Like A Moth To A Frame Side Quest. You’ll also receive the Cobalt Regalia Gear Appearance and 180 XP for finishing the side quest.
