The House Cup is the second Hogwarts Legacy post-story quest and the final main quest in the video game developed by Avalanche Software. It features only a cutscene showing the Hogwarts students taking their O.W.L.S. and celebrating the end of the year.
Even though it’s short, the Hogwarts Legacy House Cup quest is mandatory if you wish to achieve 100% completion at the end of the game because it unlocks The Seeker of Knowledge achievement/trophy.
Reaching the Great Hall for the House Cup
To be able to play the Hogwarts Legacy House Cup quest, first, you’ll have to complete Weasley’s Watchful Eye. While Weasley’s Watchful Eye is very short and accessible, the second requirement for The House Cup is to increase your character’s level to at least 34.
For this requirement, you must spend more time with the game, exploring the world and completing all remaining side-quests. If needed, you’ll also want to find all remaining collectibles, such as Field Guide Pages and Collection Chests, and finish as many Merlin Trials as possible.
So, while it may seem short if you didn’t reach Level 34, The House Cup is the longest quest in the video game. Assuming you need help with the side quests or finding all collectibles, don’t forget to visit our Hogwarts Legacy Wiki, where we cover all of them. Our Wiki provides in-depth walkthroughs and to-the-point guides with customized maps.
If you follow them, you’ll reach Level 34 in no time, so you’ll be able to complete the last main quest in the game. To do this, you’ll have to visit the Great Hall lobby, so from your current location, open your Field Guide Map, navigate to the Hogwarts Map, and then select The Great Hall from the list of available Floo Flames, followed by the Great Hall.
After reaching the Great Hall, exit the lobby via the northern wall and interact with the glowing circle on the ground (marked above). Interacting with the circle will trigger a cutscene showing your Hogwarts friends during the O.W.L.S. exams. When the exams finish, get ready to enjoy the celebrations and pay attention to Professor Black’s hilarious speech.
Since you have saved Hogwarts just like Harry Potter, it goes without saying that your house will win the House Cup. After the credits, you’ll return to your House’s Common Room, and you’ll be able to free-roam and continue exploring the beautiful world of Hogwarts Legacy.
