Hogsmeade Valley Infamous Foes are powerful enemies scattered throughout the dangerous world of the video game published by Warner Bros Games. In Hogsmeade Valley, there are three Hogwarts Legacy Infamous Foes: two can be defeated while exploring the open world, and the third by completing a side quest.

So, unlike the Hogsmeade Valley Demiguise Statue collectible, you’ll have to actually fight the Infamous Foes if you want to achieve 100% completion in this area. Don’t take these enemies lightly because they are pretty hard to beat, especially if your level is lower than theirs.

Where To Find the Three Hogsmeade Valley Infamous Foes in Hogwarts Legacy

On our Hogsmeade Valley map below, you can see that the three Infamous Foes have fixed locations. Two of them are near the forest, while the third is on the eastern side of the area. Here is where to find them in the game.

Hogwarts Legacy Hogsmeade Valley Infamous Foes Locations Map

Infamous Foe #1: Inside A Castle

The first Hogsmeade Valley Foe, named Tempeste Thorne, is located in a castle on the east side of the region. Once you reach the place marked on our map, you’ll have to enter the castle by flying over the walls with your broom.

If you don’t have a broom yet, come back later when you do. Inside the castle, you’ll find a couple of level 22 enemies, along with level 25 Tempeste Thorne. Try taking the level 22 enemies first to charge your Ancient Magic Meter, then focus on the boss. As you can see, Tempeste Thorne has a red shield around her, which you can take out with spells like Incendio, learned upon completing Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1.

Then, use L1/LB + R1/RB on your PlayStation/Xbox controller to deal a lot of damage with Ancient Magic, provided you have it charged up from the dealt and received damage from fighting the lesser enemies before. If not, use regular attacks and spells to take the boss out.

Infamous Foe #2: By the Water

For the next Infamous Foe, you’ll have to make your way to the northern part of the region, not far from the Upper Hogsfield hamlet. Look for your target, Rampant Dugbog, by the water at the location pinpointed on the map above.

How To Defeat Hogwarts Legacy Hogsmeade Valley Infamous Foes

Of course, the boss has his friends with him, a couple of Cottongrass Dugbog mobs, which you should take out first. Be careful because the level 25 boss and even the level 24 lesser enemies are tanky, so this fight might take a while. Like with the previous Infamous Foe, save up on Ancient Magic energy for the boss.

Infamous Foe #3: Found While Playing Brother’s Keeper Side Quest

The third Hogsmeade Valley Infamous Foe is the trickiest because you can find him only during the Brother’s Keeper side quest, covered here. As such, refer to our guide and defeat the third boss, Bardolph Beaumont’s Corpse.

How To Find Hogwarts Legacy Hogsmeade Valley Infamous Foes

If you zoom out on your map and still see 2 out of 3 Infamous Foes in the Hogsmeade Valley region, even if you know you’ve defeated all 3, it’s because of a bug, but don’t worry; it should still get added to the Enemies tab of your Collections menu.

Have Something To Add? Do It Here:

  1. Theres also Gwyndolin Zhou in the ashwinder base under the hogshead Inn in southwest hogsmead. I thought bordolph had glitched but turns out he either doesn’t count or there are actually 4 foes.

  2. I have completed all the foes but the map still says that I have only killed 2 of them. I thought a first i hadn’t done the brothers keeper quest but I have! And I can’t find either of the other foes and distinctly remember killing both. I think it must be a glitch but a really annoying one at that me being a completionist and all. Any ideas?
