Hogwarts Legacy Forbidden Forest Collection Chest Locations Guide

Forbidden Forest Collection Chests are mandatory if you want to achieve 100% completion in the northern region of Hogwarts Legacy. For your effort, you’ll also get some cool-looking Wand Handles or conjuration recipes for the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Castle.

You’ll find five of the treasure chests in different Bandit Camps scattered through the region and one in a dungeon. Note that getting these chests can be tricky if you don’t pay close attention to your surroundings.

Where To Find the Six Forbidden Forest Collection Chests in Hogwarts Legacy

On the Forbidden Forest map below, we have marked the locations of all six Collection Chests you must retrieve. As you can see, four are in the forest area, and two are outside the forest.

Collection Chest #1: Next to a Bed

The first Forbidden Forest Chest is found on the south side of the region near the border with Hogsmeade Valley. Once you reach the location marked on the map above, you’ll find yourself in a Small Bandit Camp, and the treasure chest is next to one of the beds in the bigger tent.

Collection Chest #2: Next to a Cage

Not far northwest of the previous collectibles, there is another Small Bandit Camp where you can find the second Collection Chest in Forbidden Forest. Explore the camp and look for the treasure chest next to a cage. If you are in the camp, the chest should appear on your mini-map, and you can find it easier.

Collection Chest #3: Next to a Vase

The third Collection Chest is located southeast of the West Forbidden Forest Floo Flame, this time in a Medium Bandit Camp. Look for the chest in the big tent on the east side of the camp. More exactly next to the vase on the left side of the tent as you enter.

Collection Chest #4: Next to Some Crates

For the fourth Treasures Chest in the Forbidden Forest region, head to the Small Bandit Camp southeast of the North Ford Bog Entrance Floo Flame (check the map above if needed). The collectible is in the smaller tent next to some crates and the fur of a poor beast.

Collection Chest #5: In a Tent

The next Chest collectible is located in yet another Small Bandit Camp southwest of the Upper Hogsfield hamlet. After reaching the fifth location pinpointed on our map, you’ll find the treasure chest in the only tent of the camp.

Collection Chest #6: Inside Horklump Hollow Dungeon

The last Collection Chest is in the Horklump Hollow dungeon. The entrance is close to the previous collectible. Refer to our Horklump Hollow Collection Chest guide for more details on this particular chest.
