To unlock In The Shadow Of Fate Relationship Quest, it is mandatory to progress Sebastian’s questline until you complete In The Shadow Of The Relic, where you learn the killing curse, Avada Kedavra. Choosing the first dialogue option, you’ll agree to speak with Ominis without hesitation, and Sebastian will be grateful for your friendship. By selecting the second dialogue option, you’ll be unsure of what to do. Then, Sebastian expresses his regret and hopes that everyone can forgive him. Regardless of what happens next, he’s glad you’ve met each other.
Picking either of those two dialogue options, you’ll have to speak with Ominis afterward. Talking to Ominis, he will tell you he doesn’t want to lose Sebastian but feels like there’s no other option. Then, you’ll have to choose between:
- We should turn Sebastian in.
- We must not turn Sebastian in.
What Happens if You Turn Sebastian In
Picking the first dialogue option, you’ll agree with Ominis, acknowledging that you have been trying to justify Sebastian’s actions but that it has gone too far. Ominis agrees to tell the Headmaster and says you must face whatever lies ahead together.
Both of you say farewell, and Ominis promises to be in touch, which will also finish In The Shadow Of Fate in Hogwarts Legacy.
What Happens if You Don’t Turn Sebastian In
Picking the second dialogue option, you will argue that Sebastian regrets what he did and that taking him away would hurt Anne more. Ominis eventually agrees, acknowledging that punishing Sebastian would also punish Anne.
