The Hogsmeade Valley Balloons in Hogwarts Legacy are floating high above the Upper Hogsfield hamlet, just waiting for you to pop them. There is a set of 5 Balloons in Hogsmeade Valley counting as one collectible, as you can see on the right side of your screen if you zoom out on your map and put the cursor on this region.

Of course, to reach the Balloons, you must get your own flying Broom, which can be done after completing the Flying Class quest. The main reason for popping these Balloons is to complete challenges and get Broom skins. If you want to see your progression, just go to the Exploration tab of the Challenges menu. While in Hogsmeade Valley, you can also defeat the 3 Infamous Foes and get even closer to achieving 100% completion in this region.

Where To Find the Hogsmeade Valley Balloons in Hogwarts Legacy

As mentioned, the Balloons are scattered above Upper Hogsfield, a hamlet in the northern part of the Hogsmeade Valley region. In the same hamlet, you can start these two side quests: Breaking Camp and Brother’s Keeper. We’ve marked the area where you can find the Balloons on the following Hogwarts Legacy map.

The fastest way to get to the Hogsmeade Balloons is to fast-travel to the Upper Hogsfield Floo Flame. Once in the hamlet, get on your Broom and gain altitude. You should be able to see all the Balloons south of the hamlet, just like in the following image.

To pop the Balloons, fly through them with your Broom in whatever order you want. Now check the Challenges menu to see if you have any unclaimed Broom Appearances (skins).
