North Hogwarts Region Infamous Foe or Pergit is a strong level 23 Hogwarts enemy that is quite hard to defeat, especially if your level is lower. However, the trickiest part is actually finding the Infamous Foe because you’ll have to fight him during a side quest that may not be on your priority list.
Also, Pergit will have his minions with him, making the fight even harder. No worries, though, because we have your back as always, and throughout the following Hogwarts Legacy guide, we’ll explain where you can find Pergit and how to defeat him.
Where To Find the North Hogwarts Region Infamous Foe in Hogwarts Legacy
Pergit can be found in the Korrow Ruins dungeon. The entrance is on the western part of the North Hogwarts Region, as shown on the following map.
To gain access to this dungeon for the first time, you must complete The Tale Of Rowland Oakes side quest. You can defeat Pergit during this quest.
How to Defeat Pergit
Once you reach the part of The Tale Of Rowland Oakes side quest where you enter the Korrow Ruins, you must go forward from the dungeon’s entrance and down the stairs. Defeat the enemies here, then head to the larger room to the south.
Again, you must defeat many enemies, then go down the stairs to the west and make your way through the tunnel to the left. You’ll soon find the cell holding Rowland Oakes guarded by more enemies you must defeat.
Now talk to Oakes through the door, and he will ask you to retrieve his wand, for which you’ll need to return to the larger room from before. On the north side of the larger room, you’ll find a round metal door (follow the quest marker if you get lost).
To open the metal door, you must take a few steps back and turn to the west to see a furnace. Use Confringo on the furnace several times until you open the metal door. Confringo is a spell you unlock after completing the In the Shadow of the Undercroft main quest.
Now, behind the metal door, you’ll finally find Pergit, the Korrow Ruins Infamous Foe. Pergit is going to attack you along with his level 20 minions. Some of them will have shields you need to take out with the appropriate type of spell (depending on the color of the shield).
Don’t forget to use your Ancient Magic (L1/LB + R1/RB on your PlayStation/Xbox controller), preferably on Pergit, because he is resilient. Upon defeating Pergit, you can go ahead and finish the side quest.
