Hogwarts Legacy Poidsear Coast Astronomy Table requires you to play a mini-game in which you have to solve a little puzzle, provided you want to achieve 100% completion in the southern region. Solving Astronomy Tables puzzles completes Challenges that reward you with items from the Starry-Eyed Seer gear appearance set. The rewards are claimed from the Exploration Challenges menu.
But, before dealing with the Astronomy Tables, you must first complete the Astronomy Class main quest. Also, you can interact with the tables only during nighttime. Thus, if it’s daytime, open your map, press / on your PlayStation/Xbox controller, then /, and just like that, the sun magically disappears.
Where To Find the Poidsear Coast Astronomy Table in Hogwarts Legacy
As you can see on the following Poidsear Coast map, the Astronomy Table is on the southern side of the area.
More precisely, on a cliff southeast of the South Poidsear Coast Floo Flame, which you can use to fast-travel if you have it unlocked. Also, you can find one of the three Poidsear Coast Balloons sets really close.
How To Solve the Poidsear Coast Astronomy Puzzle
Now, land next to the Poidsear Coast Astronomy Table, make sure it’s nighttime, and interact with it. First, check out the telescope’s controls in the bottom right corner of your screen. Then, zoom out (/) and rotate the telescope to the left (/) to match the model in the middle of your screen with the Hydra constellation (the bright stars). If needed, use the other controls to get a perfect match, just like in the following image.
