Hogwarts Legacy Spell Combination Practice 1 is a training side quest in which you’ll learn to make spell combinations using the Accio and Levioso Spells.
Also, it is mandatory to finish Spell Combination Practice 1 Side Quest to progress the story as part of Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1.
Hence, in the following guide, we will explain how to perform all spell combinations and complete Spell Combination Practice 1 Quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
How To Start Spell Combination Practice 1 In Hogwarts Legacy
To unlock the Spell Combination Practice 1 Side Quest, you’ll have to progress the story until you start Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1, where you’ll learn a new spell named Incendio.
Then, talk to Lucan Brattleby, who can be found in The South Wing part of Hogwarts Castle, near the Clock Tower Courtyard Floo Flames.
During Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1, you’ll be given two prompt messages to choose from. Select the first prompt message to begin the side quest.
The second prompt message is for the Crossed Wands Round 1 and Crossed Wands Round 2 Side Quests.
How To Complete Spell Combinations
After a short conversation with Lucan Brattleby, you’ll face a training dummy.
You must perform a spell combination using the spell Accio learned during Charms Class Main Quest, followed by four consecutive Basic Cast attacks.
Cast Accio and press (R2)/(RT) four consecutive times to cast basic attacks.
After successfully performing the spell combination using Accio, you’ll have to do the same using the spell Levioso you’ve learned during Defence Against The Dark Arts Class Main Quest.
Cast Levioso and press (R2)/(RT) four consecutive times to cast Basic Cast attacks.
Here is where things will get a bit tricky.
For the final spell combination, you’ll have to cast Levioso, followed by three consecutive basic attacks, then cast Accio, followed by four successive basic attacks.
We’ve also marked the spell combination in the image below.
This spell combination between Levioso and Accio will allow you to stagger enemies for longer and deliver more damage without being attacked.
Also, it is worth noting that the fourth basic attack after each Control Spell will make the target hit the ground if don’t cast another Control Spell instead to continue the chain.
That’s everything for the Spell Combination Practice 1 Side Quest. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below or check our Hogwarts Legacy Wiki Hub here for additional help.
