The Hogwarts Legacy Marunweem Lake Balloon set is composed of 5 pieces that you need to find and pop, assuming you want to achieve 100% completion in the southeastern lake area. To complete the side activity, you must reach the Balloons high in the sky, meaning you must own a flying Broom.
No worries, because you can buy a Broom once you complete the Flying Class main quest. The Balloons are scattered all over the Hogwarts Legacy open world, and the more you pop, the more Challenges you complete, obtaining Broom skins. The skins can be claimed from the Exploration tab of the Challenges menu.
Where To Find the Marunweem Lake Balloon Set in Hogwarts Legacy
As you can see on the Marunweem Lake map below, the Balloons Set is found on the region’s east side.
To reach the Balloons in Marunweem Lake, I suggest you start from the Coastal Mine Floo Flame in the northeastern area. So if you have the Floo Flame unlocked, fast-travel to it and get on your Broom. Then, gain some altitude and head south across the lake to spot the Balloons floating.
As a reference point, the easternmost Balloon is next to one of the two Marunweem Lake Landing Platforms. To complete the side activity, you need to fly through each Balloon on your Broom, making it blow up and leaving confetti behind. Upon popping the fifth Balloon, you will get 50 XP, confirming that the side-activity is complete.
